Algonkian District Supervisor Juli E. Briskman introduced a successful motion at the Board of Supervisors' July 22, 2026 business meeting directing county staff to return at the September 15 meeting with an item that could establish a pause on data-center applications, site plans, and substation applications, plus County Attorney legal analysis. The county's July 23 release describes that staff direction; it does not enact a pause.
