Core Scientific and AMD announce multi-year AI infrastructure partnership

On July 28, 2026, Core Scientific and AMD announced an infrastructure partnership under which AMD is to secure more than 500 megawatts of U.S. data center capacity for end-customer AI deployments beginning in 2027, with the ability to expand up to 2.5 gigawatts. Separate company and trade reporting describe 15-year lease economics and Core Scientific's continuing shift from bitcoin mining toward high-density AI colocation.
