UK says 38 AI action-plan measures are complete after one year

The government says it has met 38 of 50 actions in its AI Opportunities Action Plan, alongside investments and programs it describes as strengthening domestic AI capacity.

The UK government says 38 of the 50 actions in its AI Opportunities Action Plan have been met after one year. Its update includes a Sovereign AI Unit with up to £500 million, five AI Growth Zones, Isambard-AI, and more than one million AI courses toward a 10 million target by 2030.
